This is my entry for the Okami Competition.

I used several pictures for reference, especially for Orochi (was a bitch to do). and the general outline of Amaterasu. The clouds where made up from different pieces of the background provided, pretty much draw, move the background around to find a more suitable section, rinse and repeat.

Whoa slow down there.

I would suggest Oni Island or Sakuya's Tree, depending on who's in the picture, Sakuya's Tree would be a great one for the good guys and Oni Island would be great for the bad guys.
